=============About the concept==============
Delhi, with communities representing several ethnicities and religions, has always been a melting pot of cultures. On DilliNet - an online meeting place for expatriates in Delhi - there's even more complexity.
There are communities within a community - Asians, Africans, Australians, Americans from both South, Cental and Noth America, Europeans. Every community has it's own tradition and it's own celebrations. We want to give them the chance to celebrate them while away from home and at the same time - present these traditions to Delhities.
========= =======Cinco de Mayo===============
Cinco de Mayo is a Holiday held on May 5 that commemorates the Mexican army`s unlikely victory over French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862.
Today, it is celebrated primarily in the state of Puebla and in the United States and is now coming to Delhi. The date is observed nationwide mostly in the United Stated as a celebration of Mexican culture, heritage and pride.
